Pulse grenades are powerful grenades that first release a devastating blast of heat, then a devastating shock wave that, when hitting a target with enough force, can completely disable an energy shield.
Design:
Pulse grenades are typically tri-colored, containing fire chi with on one end and a compressed energy shield with a highly flammable pellet on the other. On impact or timer end, whichever comes first, the fire chi overloads the energy shield which explodes in a violent release, creating the shock wave which ignites the pellet, releasing a near-instant wave of heat.
Pulse grenades are designed to work with the Impalor system, latching on to the adapter until fired.
